STORY & CREW

Mutlu family who is a middle class town-dweller in the lap of luxury, lives in Bakırköy, one of the eximious districts of Istanbul. The mother of the family, Türkan Mutlu, is a cleaning addict and she becomes a self sacrificing Turkish mother due to her husband’s lack of interest. Türkan Mutlu is unhappy because of the disconnection and the absence of communication in her family.

Her husband Sıtkı always falls asleep in front of TV, her teenage daughter Melike is glued to her cell-phone, her little son Ali is constantly on his tablet. Finally Türkan can’t take it anymore and has a nervous breakdown. As a result of this, family decides to see a therapist. When the family therapist finds out they haven’t been on a holiday for several years, he suggests them to take some time off. A funny and adventurous journey is waiting for our family who is going on a holiday after 9 years.
