Kayla’s father abandons her at the hospital on the day she was born. Kayla and her mother find themselves facing the world alone.
The difficulty of growing up without a father and witnessing her mother’s struggle to make ends meet, molds Kayla into a strong, passionate and determined young girl.

Kayla hates her biological father and wants to get rid of him. Despite a new life in a big city with a brand new school and friends, Kayla would do whatever it takes to gain her father’s hatred so that she can return to her old and happy life.She meets a mysterious, dark guy on the first day of school. Meriç, the coolest guy on campus, happens to be full of many secrets. Kayla sees Meriç as a key to the locked door of her old life. In an effort to return to her happy place, Kayla befriends this boy, who will help her get into enough trouble.
